Dynamos complete British Signings
Tuesday 26th August 2008 [10.35 PM]
Dynamos Coach Kevin Parrish has re-signed Martin Ryder, Matt Drake, Pete Carey and Damien Welch and completed the British contingent with the signing of British-trained Canadian forward Jamie Dancey.
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, the 21-year-old has come through the Cardiff Youth teams and split his time between Cardiff's Elite League Devils and National League Dragons last season, Parrish is expecting big things.
He added: "I'm pleased to add Jamie to the roster because he brings some good experience from his time with Cardiff. He was happy to come here and will most probably start on our first line with Milan and Andrews."
Jamie will be wearing the #76 shirt.

Invicta welcomes Milan Kostolny
Tuesday 19th August 2008 [4.01 PM]
Invicta Dynamos would like to welcome Milan Kostolny
I'm so happy to be signing such a player as Milan, with his experience in the OHL, ECHL, AHL,Extraliga and the past two seasons in the EPL with the Telford Tigers picking up 57 points in 39 games. Milan is a big strong player with the ability to put the puck in the net.
This is just what we needed after the past week.
On signing, Milan said " Im looking forward to the new challenge with Invicta, I'm sure we can do well as a team and people will enjoy watching us"

SARNO BROTHERS TAKE A U TURN
Tuesday 12th August 2008 [11.43 AM]
On Sunday morning I received a email from John Sarno saying that he was sorry but him and Anthony would not be coming to Invicta as they have found another team back home.
With this news I have to act quickly to find replacements for them, and have been emailing players since Sunday and have at least four players on the hit list to go for. With this shock news it doesn't leave me alot of time, but I can assure the fans that one or maybe two non British trained players will be on the roster by the end of the week.

#29 IS BACK
Its great to have Leone back again, hard working, big hitting and a crowd favourite. Leone is a big part of the team next season, his high energy on the ice and his type of play fits in with the plans for the team next season. Leone had the A on his shirt last year and his work in the dressing room was second to none. We saw at the later stage of last season that he is not just in your face player, he puts the puck in the net to. Leone will have the same responsibility as last year wearing the A.

#44 Signs for 2008-09
Ryan Giles is back. Ryan has just turned 18 and was wishing to play this season at a higher level. After speaking with Ryan I said that maybe its a season too early and with the restructure of the league this gives Ryan the best time to prove him self as a top defence man. He has improved over the past 2 seasons and I have no doubt that if Ryan is looking to make the step, he will be putting everything into his game. Ryan reads the game very well, making plays is a big part of his game and with great shot on him. So Ryan has a point to prove this year and I see this as a big positive for the team.
Wearing the #17 shirt this season will be Laurence Billing. Laurence has been out of the game for two seasons and wants to get back into the sport. Laurence played at the junior levels at Invicta before moving on to Slough and his last team Guildford. He was one of the best at a young age. Laurence has had a few training sessions with us, when we were in the play-offs and I could see his potential from then. He finds the net and skates well, it will take Laurence a month or so to get back to his best but im sure he has a bright future ahead of him again in the sport.
With the roster getting full and maybe only 2-3 places left in the team, some tough decisions will be made over the next couple of days, and I will let the fans know.
The season is getting close now, and I for one can't wait to get it going. It's now a great league with some very good players in it. Roll on September
