| Forward Scott Beeson rose through the ranks in Romford before briefly getting a taste of EPL action, first in 2002/03 and then again in 2004/05, with the Raiders in Essex. In 2005/06 he then sought a move in an attempt to secure more ice time and he quickly became a key figure in the Lee Valley Lions line-up finishing his debut campaign as the club's top point's scorer. Beeson remained with the Lions for a further two years scoring 16 goals in 2006/07 before improving on that tally with 20 the following season. Having made his mark in Lee Valley the forward then opted to switch to Haringey in 2008/09 and he continued at Alexandra Palace last term as he battled in an attempt to save the Greyhounds from the drop. Despite the north London side struggling in the ENIHL's top tier Beeson's ability was still there for all to see as he completed 2009/10 as the club's highest point scorer amassing 19 goals and 11 assists in 31 encounters. |
